3. Which law applies to our activity
Under Article 3 of Directive 2000/31/EC on electronic commerce — transposed in Ireland by the European Communities (Directive 2000/31/EC) Regulations 2003 (S.I. No. 68/2003) — a service provider's activity is governed by the law of the Member State in which it is established. We are established in Germany, so German law applies to our activity.
This notice is nonetheless published in English and sets out the information required both by § 5 of the German Digital Services Act (Digitale-Dienste-Gesetz — DDG) and by the provider information requirements in Articles 5 and 6 of Directive 2000/31/EC as transposed in Ireland.
4. Prices and terms
Prices for our services are set out on the home page. They are stated in euro and are final amounts: no VAT is charged, as the company is a small business under § 19 UStG.
5. Use of an artificial intelligence system
This site makes available a chat assistant that runs on an artificial intelligence system. In accordance with Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 laying down harmonised rules on artificial intelligence, users are informed at the start of any interaction that they are communicating with an artificial intelligence system and not with a natural person. Content produced by that system is identified as artificially generated.
How the data entered into the chat assistant is handled is described in our privacy policy.
6. Intellectual property
Everything that makes up this site (structure, text, images, logos, databases, source code) is protected by intellectual property law and remains our exclusive property. Reproduction, publication, adaptation or exploitation of any part of it without prior written permission is not permitted.
7. Consumer dispute resolution
The services offered on this site are addressed exclusively to businesses acting in the course of their trade or profession. They are not offered to consumers, and consumer alternative dispute resolution schemes therefore do not apply to them.
